CCCC First Harbor Engineering Bureau Yulong Island Refinery Project
NANHAI's advanced floating body technology has facilitated the smooth completion of the drainage box culvert installation for the Yulong Island Integrated Refinery Project in Yantai by CCCC First Harbor Engineering Bureau.
The project involves installing 123 large box culverts, each 24 meters long, 18 meters wide, 5 meters high, and weighing 1850 tons. Through the use of pneumatic floating bodies, each culvert is supported by 20 large pneumatic floaters, providing 1200 tons of buoyancy. This innovative approach eliminates the need for large floating crane vessels, significantly reducing installation costs and becoming the preferred method for buoyancy assistance in offshore culvert installations across various industries.
- The designed pneumatic float dimensions are 2.2 meters by 24 meters.
- Each individual pneumatic float can provide buoyancy of 60 tons.
